A Great Tired

June 17, 2008 at 4:13 am (Uncategorized)

[wpvideoc wZpVf3T]Most people end their work day tired. Some people head home experiencing a “good tired.” Tonight as we are heading for bed we are thanking God for a great tired. We are astounded by how great today has been. I’ve been typing and retyping this sentence for 10 minutes trying to find words to describe it. If for some reason we had to head home tomorrow, our shoot today made it all worthwhile. No joke.

Jeannie was wonderful. All of her girls were a blessing. We had a blast. The story is starting to unfold. The journey is thrilling. We believe God is up to something big.

Click on the link to hear a little more about Jeannie and the girls. We’ll have pictures from our day uploaded tomorrow. Keep praying – we can’t do it without you!

BV Team – Great report on your time with Jeannie. Thank you for taking the time, after your long day, to share what took place today. What an awesome story!!! The short version was great and we will look forward to hearing and seeing the longer version in the future.

We are praying for each of you.

    Much love,

Hey, I’m getting ready to get in my minivan with Melissa and the girls and head from St. Simons to Woodstock. If I get out my video camera for a few minutes, is that something you guys could use?

I know. That joke is getting old.

Gotta go. My coffee is on the move.

Jimmy for the last time just because you have a cool name does not mean we want to film your story. However your van sounds interesting…

I’m so glad you guys have this blog. It’s kinda like being there, except I don’t have to share in the driving responsibilities :). I love you guys and I’m praying! Miss you already.

It was great to hear about Jeannie’s story and positive things coming out of the New Orleans area after Katrina. Unfortunately, today’s media only picks up the negative stories and all too often, stories such as this are over looked.

I pray that the rest of your trip is as good as the start, as it seems everything is coming together and God has placed his hand on your journey and mission.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families as they are missing you guys, but absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder (especially for such a wonderful cause).

I look forward to the next update and may God continue to bless each of you,

    Hey guys!

I am so excited to hear about your trip. I love having this blog to keep up with you guys – though the 24 hour camera for the RV would have been killer – I wanna see Andrew and Matt Indian leg wrestle to see who has to empty the black water.

Anyways, keep up the good work. Es and I have been praying for you and will keep praying for you everyday. Remember to enjoy the journey and take in everything – God talks to us in so many ways that we often miss! Love all of you!!

    Hey homies,

Have you done any donuts with the RV yet? Please capture that moment with the camera out the window when it happens. And maybe I’m dumb… but I can’t get the video to work. Sad day!

I hope everything is going well, and that you guys are seeing God’s faithfulness in all the things you have prayed for and all the things you haven’t. Eat some easymac for me.

    Love you!
