Dream Big, Act Now!

January 28, 2009 at 6:08 pm (Uncategorized)

A huge thank you to everyone who has picked up a copy of Anthem! It has been so fun to watch it go out all over the country. We are praying for each of you as we are sending it out.  Our prayer is that it would be more than a film about other people – that it would truly inspire and empower you to dream big and act now with your life!

In addition to the great stories we continue to receive about what you are doing with your lives, we would love to hear your thoughts about the film. Leave us a comment here or shoot an e-mail over to mail@brokenvoices.org

The Big Day!

January 20, 2009 at 11:00 am (Uncategorized)

Anthem is here! We are busy fulfilling the initial pre-orders of the DVD. I wish I could give you a glimpse of the joy and excitement we are experiencing today. It’s such a gift to be standing on the other side of a dream. Just over a year ago the idea of Anthem was birthed and today we are holding finished DVDs. Thank you for all the encouragement and support you’ve provided along the way. We could not have done this without you.

There is so much more to come. The stage is set for this to be an incredible year of getting this film into the hands of young adults and communicating God’s message of hope and purpose. We are going to need your help to get there – more on that later. Today we are pausing to celebrate and thank God for this special day.

A number of people are reviewing the film and helping us get the word out on Anthem. We flipped out when we read Dan Scott’s review on the film just a few moments ago. We wanted to share a paragraph from Dan and a link to the rest of his blog:

We’ll be back later today with a video blog. Until then please join us in celebrating this exciting day!

Your Story

January 1, 2009 at 11:17 am (Uncategorized)

As an organization we have the privilege of hearing from people all over the world who are doing incredible things with their lives. We become so motivated and inspired as we read through the emails you send us. Rather than keeping all the good stuff to ourselves, we are working hard to design a new part of the web site – Your Story. We believe the world will be challenged and inspired by what you have to say. Your life matters, you have a voice, this is an opportunity for you to use it.

If you are discovering who you are and doing something with your life, if you are just starting something, if you are about to try something, or anywhere in between – we would love to hear about it!

We will take these stories and post them on a new portion of the site – allowing people to comment and interact. Your ideas, your dreams and what you are doing will inspire and encourage others along their journey.

To get this started, simply send an e-mail to the address below – share your name and city, followed by your story. Thanks for sharing, we look forward to reading and posting your story soon.
